I’m a wedding photographer with  25 years of capturing love stories. I tied the knot myself  with the amazing Christine at the breathtaking Holdsworth House over a year ago now—seriously, it’s one of the best wedding venues I’ve ever worked at. The Hotel grounds were magnificent and some of the building dates back to the 15th century. The staff were brilliant too. Anyhow I digress

At home, our crew includes three rescue cats—Molly, Belle, and Roxy. They’re a handful, but they bring so much joy to our lives. We got Belle or rather Belle picked us. One day whilst we were sun bathing out in the garden she strolled up and made herself at home. We made all the necessary checks without success so she ours now., or rather we are hers! The two other “girls” came from a rescue

Okay so what hobbies do I have? I feel a tad stupid writing this as it feels like im writing some online dating form but hey ho!

Formula One It’s my kind of thrill, even if I’m just a spectator. I can’t think of a better Sunday with the feet up watching the race, oh that’s after Christine’s made sure I’ve done all my “jobs” and metal detecting! Yeah, I’m that guy on a grown-up treasure hunt, stumbling over and  upon interesting finds by sheer luck and maybe a bit of skill. Coming back home covered in mud from the fields and clutching my latest load of rubbish is not everyone’s ideal way of enjoying oneself but it take all sorts !!

Eating out is a joy, especially in Harrogate, for fine dining, Leeds for Convenience  or Bradford for a spicy Curry, anywhere really with tasty bites, and as long as its with the family it can’t get any better.

Oh, and I’ve taken a few motorcycle rides around Scotland and Ireland, soaking in the stunning scenery. A road trip around Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon souther rim on hired motor bikes was the pinnacle. Absolutely breathtaking, especially hitting Monument Valley and Zion Park.

Now, here’s the crazy part. I once shot a wedding in a helicopter above the Las Vegas strip. Flashy, right? With a pastor onboard conducting the service 500 feet above “The Strip,” it added a whole new level of uniqueness to the ceremony.

The bright lights, the iconic hotels—it was surreal. I was just there, trying to capture the magic surrounded by glitz and glamour. Landed, hit the streets of Vegas, snapped shots wherever the vibe felt right. The groom in a white suit against the Vegas backdrop? Too cool.

Life throws unexpected opportunities, and I’m humble and grateful to witness and document unique celebrations.

So, if you’re in the market for someone to capture your big day—whether it’s in a helicopter over Vegas or a cozy little boutique hotel then —let’s chat. Drop me a message through the contact form, and we can see if I might be the right fit to capture some amazing memories for you
